Hunted Tree In Kuala Trengannu

Pic: A villager collecting "tears" being shed by the tree

This century-old tree have been reported have been "crying" profusely over the past 2 weeks and villagers in Bukit Besar claim they also heard cries of an old man weeping.

The tree is located at a Muslim cemetery in Masjid Raja. The villages believe the "crying tree" is an omen about a recent proposal to develop the area. Some joked that the tree is crying because it is sad about the recent petrol increase.

A bomoh from a nearby village said it was due to a restless soul in the tree.

Read the full story in the Star.

I suspect that my bonsai plants have also started crying after the fuel hike. I wish that they would cry petrol instead of water.
