3 Years Jail For Keeping Any Porn

The police recently warned that it is a serious offence for people to possess sex videos.

Segamat OCPD Supt Abd Majid Mohd Ali said “I want people to know it is an offence to have the clips in their mobile phones or copies of it in CD form”.

He said that those found with pornographic videos or clips would face a jail term of up to three years, fine or both under Section 292 of the Penal Code for possession of obscene materials.

Supt Abd Majid Mohd Ali made this statement in conjunction with a case in Segamat involving people in possession of 2 sex video clips in their handphones.

The widely-circulated 6 minute sex video clips show 2 different couples – the first, in a sexual act, and the other showing a woman performing oral sex.

Apparently the sex acts was shot with a mobile phone.

Imagine having someone report you for having porn DVDs at home or sex clips in your handphone. I think this law would include prohibiting your having videos or photos of your own penis or vagina as well.

What about porn in your computer ? I guess the same law would apply.

Remember Edison Chen's sex photo scandal in January ? Where celebrities implicated in the scandal included Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan, Mandy Chen, Candice Chan, Rachel Ngan and Cecilia Cheung. See here.

What would you do if the cops arrested your for having porn ?

Please post your comments.
