Hamsup Men Pay Top Money For Young Girls

There is a recent report by the NST about GROs.

According to one report, 40 plus old men go to karaoke lounges to mainly purchase extra services from the GROs.

The "butterfly" GROs "flies" from one room to the next, thus the name. You may select a GRO to stay put with you throughout the evening, but you'd have to pay a fixed amount, which usually is RM45 an hour for a minimum of five hours.

Some GROs can cost you up to RM75 an hour, with a 10-hour minimum "booking".

A customer said "With drinks, it can easily cost more than RM1,000 to have one girl by your side the whole evening."

If you want to have sex with a girl, you can make arrangements through a mama-san.

A GRO Can Earn More Than A Surgeon

GROs rounded up in a raid

Yes a a top GRO can earn up to RM20,000 a month and a cleaver mama-san can earn as much as RM120,000 a month, Joe, an ex manager of a popular nightclub in KL, told NST journalists.

According to the NST report, there are many reasons why young women become GROs, from the need to finance their studies to the easy lifestyle it brings.

Joe says the girls are neither recruited nor forced to become GROs - they go to the club looking for a job; some choose to be waitress and some choose to be GROs.

The GRO does not make private arrangements directly with customers - all transactions are facilitated by the mama-san, who gets a 40% commission.

MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong has asked many young GROs about why they are willing to become prostitutes and the girls always have almost the same answer, they say they have already had sex with their boyfriends, so what is wrong in sleeping with another guy ?.

The NST reported recently that 19-year-old Noreen to become a part-time guest relations officer (GRO) at a karaoke outlet to pay for her studies.

According to the news report, Noreen, from Port Dickson, says that although the job pays no basic salary, she earns up to RM150 a day, depending on the number of customers - she earns from the commission from drinks and tips. She begins work at 6pm daily and finishes at about 2am on weekdays and 4am on weekends.

Noreen says she doesn't offer any "extra services", although her customers have asked her often enough.

Noreen became a GRO to pay for her studies in computer programming in Seremban which she hopes to complete by next year.

She says that she needs approximately RM1,500 every month to pay her fees, rental and other expenses and her salary at her previous job at McDonalds' was insufficient to accommodate her monthly expenses.

Apparently you can purchase sex for as low as RM30 in Malacca. Harian Metro has reported that 8 budget hotels in Jalan Bunga Raya, Jalan Jalan Kee Ann, Jalan Munshi Abdullah and Kampung Jawa have been a hub for prostitution since the 70s.

The report revealed that local and and foreign prostitutes offer their services at RM30 and RM60 per "session". The customers also have the privilege of reserving the prostitutes by telephone to avoid waiting in line to be "serviced".

The report also said that these hotels are still operating despite being raided numerous times by the Immigration Department, the Police and the Jabatan Agama Islam Melaka (Jaim) due to the high demand for sex services by male foreign labourers, namely those from Bangladesh dan Nepal.

Chelsea Losing Its Virginity Tonight !

For football fans, especially Manchester United and Chelsea fans, tonight (7.45pm UK time) or rather tomorrow morning (2.45am Malaysian time) will be the UEFA Champions League Final in Moscow:

Manchester United Vs. Chelsea

The UEFA Champions League is an annual club football competition organised by UEFA for the top football clubs in Europe.

No other English football clubs have won this prestigious trophy except for Liverpool and Manchester United. Liverpool leads Manchester United by winning 5 trophies thus far.

Manchester United has won 2 trophies - in the 1967-68 final beating Benfica 4-1 and in the 1998-99 final beating Bayern Munich 2-1.

Chelsea, however, is like a virgin in Champions League list of champions - it has never won this trophy before in its history. Tonight will be an opportunity for Chelsea to lose its European football virginity.

Last week, Manchester United became the football King of England this year, yet again, after winning the English Premier League, with Chelsea being the runner-up.

Tonight's game will determine which team will be the football King of Europe, this year.

Most punters have predicted that its either a 1-0 win for Manchester United or a 1-1 draw, within standard 90 minute game.

Changing Your Life

An recent article by the New York Times confirmed what most people have already heard of - we can change our lives by changing our habits. Just as Charles C. Noble said, “First we make our habits, then our habits make us.”

The article said, amongst other things, that: "Rather than dismissing ourselves as unchangeable creatures of habit, we can instead direct our own change by consciously developing new habits. In fact, the more new things we try — the more we step outside our comfort zone — the more inherently creative we become, both in the workplace and in our personal lives."

Do You Believe That Omens Foretold The Earthquake In China ?

Apparently there were omens that predicted the earthquake that killed over 10,000 people in the Sichuan province, south-western China on Monday, 12th May. The omens were: a lake that had ‘vanished’, an army of frogs and butterflies that migrated, and distinctive cloud patterns.

Many Chinese believe that these were the clues to some geological activity which were warning signs of the impending 7.9 magnitude earthquake in China.

On hindsight, anything, however marginally connected to a past event can be construed to be an omen. If those people were so smart at reading omens, why didn't they warn anyone prior to the earthquake happening ?

Some people believe that Buddha is punishing the China for its atrocities in Tibet.

Do you believe in omens ? or are they just coincidences ? Please post your comments.

Low Salaries - We Are Being Cheated !

High cost of living, but private sector employees' salaries remain the same. How much must a person earn per month, to survive in KL ?

Recently the The Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) has asked the government to set a minimum wage of RM1,200 per month (RM900 actual minimum wage and provision of an RM300 Cost of Living Allowance). This means that the MTUC has culculated that a person must earn at least RM1,200 per month to reasonably live in a large city like KL and at least RM900 per month if he lives in a small town or village.

The Asia Times has reported that the total monthly income earned by the lowest-ranking civil servants in Malaysia is now above RM1,000. This means that a cleaner working for the government is now earning above RM1,000 per month. What about private sector employees ?

A fresh graduate working in the private sector in Kuala Lumpur today is only paid RM1,600 on average. That's barely above the RM1,200 per month the MTUC is proposing to be paid to labourers.

In some private companies, salary increments for its graduate employees are only approximately RM100 per year. So if a fresh graduate starts with Rm1,600 per month, he will take 10 years to earn RM2,600 per month; by then the cost of living would increase by hundreds of times.

Even foreign stay-in maids in Malaysia earn from RM700 to RM900 per month (food and lodging is provided by the employer). This means that they can save the RM700 - RM900 they earn per month.

How much can a fresh graduate save per month ? He has to pay for accommodation (assuming he doesn't live with his parents), food, transportation, telecommunication etc etc.

This post is not about fresh graduates' salaries or the minimum wage proposed by the MTUC. Fresh graduates' salaries and the minimum wage proposed by the MTUC are only used as benchmarks so we can make comparisons between the salaries of different levels and categories of employees in relation to the high cost of living.

Hey, are we missing something here ? a large glass of teh tarik has, in some mamak shops, gone up to RM1.40. It used to be RM1.20 last year, and RM1.00 in 2006. Why are private sector salaries so low that it can barely keep up with inflation ?

In light of the current high cost of living, how much do you think a fresh graduate working in the private sector living in Kuala Lumpur should be paid per month ?

(a) They should be happy to be paid RM1,600 per month

(b) They should be paid at least RM2,000 per month

(c) They should be paid at least RM2,500 per month

(d) They should be paid at least Rm3,000 per month

(e) They should be paid more than RM3,000 per month

The Sex Maniac's Tool

This is the tool of choice for sex maniacs - the spy cam.

The Malay Mail recently revealed that you can get spy cameras in many different forms, from pens, caps, sunglasses and even beer cans, along Jalan Pasar in KL.

Apparently, a wireless spy camera system is very easy to set up and it's definitely affordable - RM700 gets you the whole system.

Peeping toms, sex maniacs, perverts or whatever you call these people, can now proceed with mischief at a very affordable price, so it pays for everyone to be cautious and on alert at all times ! You'll never know - you don't want someone making a home video of you in "the act" and selling it to a pirate DVD peddler at the pasar malam.
