The Malay Mail reported that a lounge in Jalan Ipoh became one of the most sought after nightspots in Kuala Lumpur within a month of its opening as its hosts female Filipino and Thai striptease. The girls who are band members who would strip to their bras and underwear as part of their act.

On Thursday, however the sexy performance by seven women was cut short by eight Immigration officers posing as patrons for three nights.

According to the immigration dept, the band members had been performing daily between 9pm and 2.30am.

Apparently it was not the sexy acts by the band that were illigal but the club breached the law for hiring foreign workers without permits.

The management had not applied for professional passes for the foreign band, rendering them illegal, said Immigration enforcement director Datuk Ishak Mohamed.

Nasi Lemak is definately Malaysia's national dish. Nasi lemak to Malaysians are like fish and chips to the British, or hamburgers to Americans.
